Dr. Tekse István
Obstetrician Gynecologist and Endocrinologist

I was born in 1979 in Gyöngyös, Hungary.
I completed my medical studies at the University of Szeged, earning my medical degree in 2004. During my final year of medical school, I began postgraduate studies at the University of Szeged Faculty of Economics, where I graduated in 2005 with a degree in medical economics. In 2006, I also obtained a degree as a healthcare manager. I began my residency training at the 2nd Hospital in Szeged and later continued my work at Szent Borbála County Hospital in Tatabánya after completing the residency program.
I received my board certification in obstetrics and gynecology with distinction in 2009.
In 2010, I joined the Róbert Károly Fertility Center, which initially operated as a private hospital. It was here that I became deeply involved in assisted reproduction. In addition to assisted reproductive treatments, I have two main areas of interest:
• Minimally invasive surgical treatments (hysteroscopy and laparoscopy): These procedures often enable the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic conditions—such as those affecting fertility—that require surgical intervention.
• Endocrinology and hormonal imbalances: These issues are highly prevalent in the field of infertility, making this an essential focus of my work.
In 2019, I obtained board certification in Endocrinology and Metabolic Disorders, again with distinction.
In my work, I strive to provide the highest level of professional care, adhering to the latest evidence-based practices. Additionally, I consider psychological support for patients to be of paramount importance, especially in the field of infertility, where emotional challenges are particularly significant.
