Portrait of Dr. Fülöp István

I graduated from the Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical University in Szeged in 1996. Following this, I worked in Veszprém until completing my specialist qualification in 2001. Subsequently, I joined the Infertility Center at the Nyírő Gyula Hospital in Budapest and later became a founding member of the Róbert Károly Private Hospital’s Infertility Center, where I worked until 2021. Currently, I practice at the Dunamenti REK Center on Lehel Street.

During my training, infertility treatment and endoscopic surgery became my primary areas of interest. In addition to attending several international congresses, I spent an extended period in Munich, where I focused intensively on endoscopic surgery and reproductive medicine. This experience solidified my decision to dedicate my professional career to these fields.

The comprehensive evaluation and treatment of infertile patients present a complex and multifaceted challenge. Uncovering the underlying causes and applying various medical techniques to address these issues is a deeply rewarding task for me. Within the scope of endoscopic surgery, I have specialized in endometriosis surgery, given the frequent association of this condition with infertility.

For over two decades, I have been providing infertility treatments and, when necessary, supplementary surgical procedures. The integration of these two specialties into our daily practice significantly facilitates the resolution of fertility-related problems.

My professional philosophy is that, after thorough and extensive investigations, addressing identified issues through multidisciplinary solutions allows us to more effectively assist our patients in achieving pregnancy.
